Description: Construction of a new Shell service station and a fully fitted convenience store including cold shell works for McDonald’s. Works also included the installation of an acoustic tunnel to the drive through for noise control to the adjoining neighbours. The level of key stakeholders’ management applied on the project was significant, including being managed under a CHMP (Cultural Heritage Management Plan), fuel tank hole being excavated in proximity of boundary to Vic roads asset (Nepean Highway) and overhead powerlines in unstable soil conditions. (Sand). This excavation was closely observed, monitored requiring protection works and sheet piling excavation including the bottom of the excavation approximately 2 meters below sea level.  24-hour dewatering systems were required to be installed to the excavation to control tide changes to the excavation and expelled over 1 million litres of sea water from the excavation during the installation of the fuel tanks.
